- Permits – A document which allows you to legally do something (for example: work)
- Domestic – Having to do with the home
- Dependants – A dependant is a person who relies on another person for support
- Evidence – Facts, information, documents which support a claim
- Reside – If something or someone resides somewhere, it lives there or is located there
- Trade Union – An organisation of workers that focuses on worker’s rights
- Legislation – The official laws and rules of government
- Pupil ID – identification for a student
- Immunisation – A vaccine to prevent illness
- Assessment – A measurement of someone’s ability to carry out a task
- ESB Bill – A statement containing money owed to your electricity provider
- Deduction – Removing or taking something away
- Cut-off – (in relation to tax) a point where
- Gross Tax – (in relation to taxation) – Overall tax which includes PAYE and PRSI payments
- Contributions – (in relation to tax) – the money given to the government in the form of tax
- Incapacitated – Unable to work
