Voting
You must be 18 years of age to vote. Irish citizens may vote in every election and referendum. British citizens may vote in General, European and local elections. Other EU citizens may vote at European and local elections. Non-EU citizens may vote at local elections only. You must be
registered on the Electoral Register in order to vote. You can register at your local authority, library or post office. You must have ID and proof of address.
